While searching for an issue I had with my Cadillac, I stumbled across a large collection of Cadillac Technical Service Bulletins. If you are getting an alert on the dashboard cluster and you want to know what it means then check out the Technical Service Bulletins to see what the technicians would see in the service department.
Prime example: I was having an issue with an alert that kept showing up on my dashboard, so I searched the Technical Service Bulletins for “Service Driver Assist Message” and it provided me with this. Which was exactly what I was looking for!
Note that this disclaimer is on the bottom of every PDF and should be taken seriously: “GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a “do-it-yourselfer”. They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do ajob properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that yourvehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.”
